Wedding photography

I've had the privilege of attending and photographing a number of weddings of friends of mine.

My goal in photography is to capture the natural state of people.
Capturing the 'real person' could be defined as capturing character in planned or posed position, intending to reveal more about the person themselves; it could also be defined as a capture of innocence, unknowing, a single spontaneous instant in time, displaying a natural state in a natural environment, untainted by control or staging.

My preference is to capture moments in time in such a way as to emphasize a person's natural character. In my wedding photography, I'm the guy who stays backstage and captures the unexpected, the fun and entertaining, rather than having people pose. I enjoy walking around snapping pictures whenever something stands out; looking for spontaneity. This is the kind of photography you'll see below. For married couples, these are fun sets of photos to include in albums as a balance to the 'official'.
